Hello,

Members have suggested a topic where they can ask questions for the Forumotion Team. Here, you are free to ask questions and members of staff will answer them.

Please note that the staff reserves the right to refuse to answer any question that we deem as inappropriate. This topic will also be locked if things get out of hand. Thank you.

This is NOT a place to ask for support. All questions regarding support must be done in the appropriate sections.

Looks like this is the first question! Smile

Why is Buttercup not replying to a PM I sent her? I thought an Administrator would at least have the decency to reply to a PM requesting a simple explanation to a problem we had previously discussed? Am I asking for too much?

It is currently the weekend so she will be away. We are all human and not robots so we may not be able to reply to your message instantly.

Hi Very Happy

#1 I'm wondering a little about Buttercup and Leloo. (Those 2 are the only ones I managed to witness as pro admins). Are they or are all Pro Admins not work during the weekends? I read some old topics and I believe 'Typlo' was one of those Pro Admins. Do they have the same work schedule o.o?

#2 I deleted this

#3 Is Ange Tuteur a girl or a guy bwi ?

I still got a lot of questions to ask but those are the top 3 that's been bugging me for ages lol. And sorry if they're too much  What the fuck ?!?

Regards,
Pizza Boi I love you

Well, this is already the new topic, so there's no need to bring it back. Wink

Pro admins don't work on weekends, they only work during weekdays, as I'd observed, they're work/schedule is from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (French time).

I'm still studying there. Smile

Regarding this question:
Considering Forums Blog and Forumotion, or any related website are made from e-toxic, is that company like some big building like that of USANA or something or do they all work from home?
I don't know if we are supposed to answer this, our admins doesn't want anything private to be spilled, so we'll only be answering what we think is proper to answer.

Well, I'm a forum enthusiast you could say. I found and joined Forumotion back 2008 (just over 5 years ago) because I really wanted to see what it was like to run a forum. I joined the team back in 2011.

A couple of days over the weekend is perfectly understandable. A couple of days any time is perfectly understandable. But it has been weeks now. I've set a couple of reminders as well. Unfortunately she reads and ignores every one.

Pizza, mine is a thin crust, tomato based sauce with a cheese, spicy beef, spicy chicken and sometimes chilli cheese.

As for cheese, I generally like a extra mature cheddar when possible.

If I was removed from staff for something e.g. violating rules, inactivity, etc then probably not. If I left and decided I wanted to come back then I might try again but who knows.

Eh let's see.

I joined the forum back in 2011 because I created my first forum which still exists but is inactive.

I then was active when I was helping out someone in 2012 create there own forum. I then became active around Feb 2013 and maintained a consistent level of activity and completed reviews and was asked to Join staff by Jophy on the 28 November and I was added on 3rd of December.

Five friends well, let's see.

Sir Chivas would have to be one of my longest known persons on FM. I've know him for quite sometime.
Base - We planned to create a gaming forum but we both decided to scrap the idea a few months into the project.
SLGray - He's taught me a lot about FM and I can always talk to him about most forum related things as well as the history of FM.
LostLegend & Jophy they've both gave me a lot of advice on doing reviews and how to better them. LostLegend was always around to talk when I was just a normal member and he supported me a lot.

Buttercup our ProAdmin is also a really nice person and very hard working and therefore I have a lot of respect for Buttercup.

I know I named all staff members but those are the people I know and have spoken too for quite a long time. I'm ashamed to admit but I don't actually speak to many members on such a regular basis to either gain a lot of respect for them (respect takes time to build) or to call them a 'friend'.

My name is pronounced as it is, the stress is on the 1st syllable. Smile I don't have any forums as of the moment, the forums I created were turned into a test forum now, so I don't add them on my profile. Wink

The 5 members I respect most here in this forum are all ex staff(our seniors during their time being a staff member).
MrMario(past admin) - the 1st one to help me being a reviewer, also helped me in a lot of things.
Sanket(past admin) - the one I consider my closest friend here in ESF.
Rok(past reviewer) - the one who provided the best reviews here on the ESF
ankillien(past support moderator) - became my close friend too and was really good in coding.
kirk(past manager) - one of the most helpful staff, and for being really patient.

and of course all of the pro admins I've work with. Wink

How did you guys (all staff), found about forums ?
It was during when I needed help on an online game I'm playing, I happened to find out that there forums for support messaging.

I've made so many forums that I can't even remember my first ever forum! As for my best friends, I'd rather not list 5 of them. All my colleagues are great friends and I highly enjoy working with them all.
