Login with Facebook: set up but gives empty window
I found that I can let people log in with their Facebook account and followed the instructions to make an App page, get the code and secret code and add the function. Then I made sure the Activate Facebook connect module was checked to Yes.
When I log out and go to the forum front page, if I click on the login with Facebook option it pops up a blank window with this url:
https://www.facebook.com/dialog/oauth?scope=offline_access%2Cemail%2Cuser_birthday%2Cuser_website%2Cuser_location&response_type=none&redirect_uri=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fdialog%2Freturn%2Farbiter%3Frelation%3Dopener%26close%3Dtrue%23origin%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Ftchomeschool.forumtl.com%252Ffbacb481&seen_revocable_perms_nux=false&ref=LoginButton&auth_type=&default_audience&state=f1477dfed4&app_id=270263256515141&client_id=270263256515141&display=popup
I would like my forum to require user or admin activation but to test I made the setting "no activation required" and still the Facebook login brought up the same empty window.
Do you know what I can do to fix this?
Thanks!
Maggie

Members before you activated Facebook Connect have to associate their accounts.
Profile > Preferences
Associate Accounts
New members will not have to associate their accounts.

I don't think that is the problem. I am testing it by signing out, and clicking to turn off Log in automatically. Then I refresh the page like I am a new user finding it and click on the Log in with Facebook option. An empty window opens and that URL tries to load but the windows stay empty.
Shouldn't I get the fields that would let me enter your Facebook acct info, if I am logged out and acting like a new user?

I got this error message:
Given URL is not allowed by the Application configuration.: One or more of the given URLs is not allowed by the App's settings. It must match the Website URL or Canvas URL, or the domain must be a subdomain of one of the App's domains.
