Hello MachinaVerde,
Are your members using WYSIWYG mode ? Sometimes when you copy text it will copy over the size of that text as well, in turn adding the size bbcode.
Ex :
If the tags are not in proper order they may appear in the post after submission of the message.

Re: HTML Code Showing Up in Links on Posts
You can if you want, it depends what editor mode your members like the most. You can always switch to source code mode by clicking this button to make sure you tags are not a mess.
Just to let you know, you can determine which editor mode is used by default here :
Administration Panel > General > Messages and emails > Config
Activate the WYSIWYG mode by default in the posts : Yes || No

Re: HTML Code Showing Up in Links on Posts
DOesn't seem like I can fix this. I have posters copying stuff from twitter a lot and it always seems to have the size and ltr coding
Re: HTML Code Showing Up in Links on Posts
hmm, seems like I can edit the coding out after the fact but I can't prevent it when I post for the first time
Re: HTML Code Showing Up in Links on Posts
WYSIWYG mode will still allow BBCodes. Did you check if "Allow BBCodes" is checked in General>Messages and E-Mails>Configuration? Is it also marked "ON" while posting or if disable bbcodes is checked?
Just something basic. But it might help.
You might also want to check it with HTML as well.

BB codes is enabled. Still it is driving everyone crazy to see all of the coding from links and images. Very, very frustrating

Re: HTML Code Showing Up in Links on Posts
I have been watching this post and notice no new since 25th September. I have the same problem and although I posted similar earlier than this poster for some reason although ongoing and no further reply to my last post, my post was put in Garbage.
The size still show in some of my posts and I'm unable to correct as do not show up in Preview.
Please is this something which do not appear to have a remedy as yet, that anyone can solve?

Hello
This happen to me when I copy paste from other page such as email sent me.
This also happens to me when I transfer to my notepad, then even when I chose to use for example a larger size for my header the size shows up
or if I decide to make larger something in the post to bring attention to.
I have said no to WYSIWYG and saved in Admin Panel.
This has been ongoing for quite a long while,I didn't have this problem before.
Please is there anything else that can be suggested?
Thank you
Elaine/aka Dunggate

Hello Ange
Thank you for your reply.
When I click Switch Editor Mode this will take out the size numbers,
but unfortunately also the Bold and colours, together with Size of Font of certain such as Header of A line I wish to draw attention to.
This for example happen when I copy and paste from an email which have colours and various size fonts.
