Redirect to Home Screen Without Saving

It often happens to me that I save something in the admin panel and instead of displaying the message that it was successful, it sends me back to the home screen of the admin panel without saving my change. I then have to go there and do the change again and hope it will save this time. Why is that?

Also have you done the following?
Q, Tried  to use a Different browser like Firefox or IE ?
Q, Is there a time in the day that you get this problem all the time?
A, About 1am uk and french time our system will do a Auto backup of all forums and will then stop all files getting saved to the ACP until your backup is done. This could be why your getting put back to the home page of the ACP and have to start all over again. (There is nothing we can do about this) "Making a log on what time this is going will help us more"
Q, Is this happening to you no matter what time of day or night you try and save your files to the ACP ?

this is happening no matter when and is especially an issue in Chrome since clicks aren't always in-sync with the url bar or something like that (this is a Chrome bug). It happens much rarer in other browsers.

However, your system refuses to save when that happens so this is where you come in play. It would be better to just stay on the current page instead of defaulting to home. Some developer should look into this. It's driving me insane to do most things twice before it likes to save. It should not lose my changes when I want to save them.

Also this could happen when you are on the administration panel for a long time.  Your sessions could be expiring.

It's not related to the forum but Chrome and the admin panel coding.

It's not a timeout issue since it may happen after a few seconds already.
