Solved Why after 10000 views, no. of viewing of a topic doesn't increase?

Post by diipendu October 5th 2014, 21:19

For eg. If I create a topic and if it made 10,000 views, why the number of viewings of a topic doesn't increase after 10,000?

I want the solution. How can I fix this problem so that in my forum, views of topics keep increasing according to the counting of, visiting of, non-registered and registered users views.

Hello diipendu,

Unfortunately this is not something you can fix by yourself. Only views of registered users are counted, once a topic reaches 10,000 views.

Hello diipendu,
As Ange has said, from the moment your views reach 10,000 then only registered users who view the content will add to the counter. There is nothing that the Admins or staff can do to change this at the moment as this would require working behind the scenes to make changes which would affect all other sites in the process. We understand that you want to know the exact number but there is nothing they can do at this time. If you wish for this to be changed however, the only thing you can do is make a suggestion about it. This will allow you and the community to vote on the idea and see if it is requested enough to be changed. To make a suggestion, just click on the link below and be sure to follow the rules of that board so your suggestion doesn't get closed.

Suggestion Board: https://help.forumotion.com/f30-suggestions-for-your-forums

Hope this helps you out a bit and doesn't stop you from making more stories for your community.

Hello again diipendu,
I am glad you are making it a suggestion to hopefully be added! Hope it goes through and can help you make your site even better! Also, if your topic is solved, you might want to edit your first post and add the solved icon. This will show the staff that your issue has been solved and that it can be moved to the archive.

Again, I am sorry your idea isn't available at this time but I am glad that you are making a suggestion for it! Hope it goes well and I hope you have a great rest of your day!
