A simple question: How do I make a Registered Member a Moderator?

Hello and welcome!

You need to go to : Admin Panel > Users & Groups > Groups > Group Administration
Select the Edit icon where it says Moderators and add that username in that group! king

Or go to the page (not in the administration panel) for moderators and add the member there.
