moving a post up or down in the thread

Is it possible to move a post up or down on a thread?

no that's not possible, you can only move a post up, if you delete previous ones and move it down by posting it again.
but what point would this be anyway, posts are build on each other, so if you change the order, they don't make sense anymore..

Well for what I am wanting to do, it would be nice if I could do it.

But what I am thinking is move the ones I want to another forum and then move it back to that thread if its possible.
