Can't make a new thread?

I'm the owner and admin of my forum, http://thenforumsite.forumotion.com , but for some reason I can't post a new thread in the "General Gaming" board. I'm trying to make a new thread, but for some reason every time I tried I got the error message "you haven't got the rights to access this page" even though I clearly do. I thought I clicked something by accident but it's happened every time I've tried to make the thread.

I'm able to post just fine though...only when making a new thread...

Try this:

Delete the section and recreate the section.

Yes I was! In fact, I just posted another thread as a test and it worked just fine (it didn't have a link)...what could the issue be with the link?

Based on what I've chosen there shouldn't be any issues with it...which one specifically?

Ok here is most likely your issue (I had a similar issue myself) the link is probably on forumotion's blacklist. Hence why it wont let you post it. Try posting it here as well... Bet you will get the same message. I found out this when I was trying to post a link to a bestbuy website product on MY forum and got that exact message.

Well what do you know, I was trying to post a link to a Best Buy page. Razz

I guess I'll just take the link out of the post, it isn't really essential. Thank you!

Bingo that is your issue. Don't ask me why Best Buy is on their blacklist... But it is and it isnt coming off. I already pleaded that case in its defense. Yeah there is no problem with your site. The link is just blacklisted thats all.
