Setting forum so guest can download files

Hope this is in the right place. Here is what I'm trying to do,set my forum so guest can down-load files with out having to register,but don't know how plz help.

Do you mean the attachment open in the administration panel?

If you mean just links to host sites, then you need to set the permissions for the download sections where guests can see the links.

AP > General > Forum > Categories & Forums
