Domain transfer issue

Hi, i recently purchased a new domain at Dreamhost.com (www.Nintenex.com) and wanted to use my domain for forumotion, i redirected the url to direct to my board but it isnt the domain.. i get this error when i try to add my personalized domain name to the site.

"The supplied domain name is not well configured
You have no CNAME redirecting to : nintenex.forumotion.com
You have configured a A type DNS ( A type redirects to an IP address, and not to a textual domain name like the CNAME )"

need some assistance, no one at dreamhost knows how to help.

On your Domain site make sure the CNAME is on the www. line and add nintenex.forumotion.com
If your pointing of the domain is completed correctly, then when you enter your Personalized domain name (www.nintenex.com) you should not get the error. It will take time to propagate.
