Little problem my username rainbow animation colour

Hi i put this rainbow animation code in css

a[href="/u1"] {
background: url(https://2img.net/h/i709.photobucket.com/albums/ww98/Kodak-User/colorful.gif) repeat-x;
}

This is done but showing name backround colour box its irritating pls tell how to clear this..:-(

The CSS you used is for a background. Are you wanting only the letters in the username to be rainbow in color?

Hi there,

I don't think there's a precise solution to reverse that image background to work just over the font.

However, see if you like something like this:

Hover with your mouse over the text and you'll see the effect. The smaller it gets, the worse for you to see the effect.
