How to give a group permission to ban people?

I need help to give groups permission to ban, who know?

Hello,

You can do this in ACP (Admin panel)-->General-->Security--> find 'Dis allow moderators to ban users?' , tick this to NO and save. All moder as moderators should now be able to ban members.

If I were to create a new group called example, can it ban people?

Yes, it should.

Only if that group has permissions to moderate atleast 1 forum. If it does, then yes it should.
