Rank Images Help

Hello!
I was trying to follow this link on regards to adding a rank image to the profile. Thing was, it didn't seem to work. I was wondering if someone could guide me through this as I perhaps didn't quite understand? Thank you in advance ^^

Hello @The Awakened,

As far as i can see, that tutorial is simply how to create a rank. I am positive that you already have ranks: Staff Owner, A Sabertoot etc. (see)
But still to add a new rank you go:
ACP(Admin Control Panel) > Users and Groups > Ranks > Rank Administration > Ranks > Add new rank
and you fill in the information. Now if you want the ranks not to be gained by members and by posting then you should use "Set as Special Rank :" to Yes. That way only Administrators can use these ranks and add them to other users.

But it doesn't appear on the user's profile. Is there a separate thing I need to do? Somewhere else I need to go as well?

What is the extension on the image's URL?
