Replacing Deceased Founder
http://chevyhhrfamily.forumotion.com/forum
Our founder passed away on September 17, 2015.
I have been an administrator on the forum since it's inception on October 14, 2012 when we had to replace our old forum.
During that time our founder prepped another administrator and myself to jointly take over the forum on his passing.
Unfortunately, his daughter lost his passbook with his passwords to make this process easier.
The other administrator and I discussed who should contact you on changing the forum control over and we decided that I should be the one.
I have been in contact with his daughter and have an email from her on his date of death if that will help.
Please advise me what steps I did to take to get the forum changed over to me.
Thank You, Ike

Re: Replacing Deceased Founder
So this posted by Ape to another admin user in the same situation doesn't apply?

Yes you can take over the forum but we need proof that the Founder has passed.
I understand this is hard to get this info but if you was told by say a family member then we can take that email or PM as proof.
as for the Domain name well there is not a lot can be done about that until we give you full Admin/ Founders right's

Re: Replacing Deceased Founder
Yes an email can suffice for proof. You just need go send the info requested in the topic slg linked you to and send it to a staff member (preferably a Manager, Derri, Ape or myself, since we are the staff who have access to tools that can directly handle this request).
