How to post a hosted .swf file
I have a flash banner that I made using an online flash banner creator. I have the .swf file hosted on drop box and on fastswf. Here are the links for both of them:
Fastswf
Dropbox
Despite using the flash bbcode as follows: "[flash(500,500)]url[/flash]" I can't seem to be able to post this thing. Can anyone please explain step by step how to do this? Or explain what have I been doing wrong?

Re: How to post a hosted .swf file
Hello,
I notice that the links to both seem to require logging into an account to view the exact link. This might have something to do with it. I am not 100% sure of this, but I think in order for flash bbcode to work, the exact link or content stuff has to be viewable to the public eye (meaning viewable without any kind of account). If it is viewable to the public, I THINK it may not work.
Once again, I am not 100% sure of this, just a guess and theory.

Re: How to post a hosted .swf file
For the dropbox link, I've also checked the share link (which allows it to be seen by anyone). For Fastswf, I don't even have an account there myself so I'm not sure how that works really but I can still see the file I've uploaded.
So I'm pretty sure that that's not the issue here.

Try hosting it on a image hosting site.

Re: How to post a hosted .swf file
I just tried uploading it to deviantart. It wouldn't let me classify it in any section stating "flash files aren't allowed". Even in the animation section it said GIF images only. Suggestions?
