SCEditor Alteration For Certain Groups

I don't want users who are in a certain group to have any SCEditor Icons.

I want the whole toolbar gone for those users. Any ideas on how to do this?

sorry you can not remove this from some members all you can do is add them to some members like "Staff"

Because I know how to get rid of the whole SCEditor using CSS.

Yes you can add your own tools to the editor and then set it to just staff of yours

But what about the Staff thing? How do I add users to the Staff and make them exclusively see the icons?

we need to know more on what you want to do first.
then we can make a button that shows up only for staff members.

Hello,

I made some research about your request and I noticed that our lovely Ange Tuteur had developed some codes which let us customize some features of the SCEditor.

For more information, you can take a look at the following URLs :

In the JavaScript codes there is a part which refers to the activation of the buttons for specific usergroups and which customizes some features.

For some reason I checked the url of the group I want to edit (which is g5).

So when I tried changing all boolean values to 0 within the group_5 option, it didn't change anything. Sad
