Description of problem
I typed a much longer post and then deleted it because I thought I would try PM'ing someone about it instead - then I realized there's a post limit for PM'ing; so here we are again! The title explains it; our forum founder gave away his account information to a moderator he trusted (instead of a more trustworthy administrator or talking to anyone else first). Last time I talked to the founder, he said he would 'look into things' after I asked him to get his password back. Nothing happened after this. Additionally, the moderator refuses to sacrifice the account. This contributes to other reasons we as a community have to leave this site because we do not trust this moderator with these privileges.
Re: Forum Founder Gave Away His Account
It is the forum founders choice who they give the account to. If the founder account has been off perhaps the thread below will help you.

Re: Forum Founder Gave Away His Account
I get that, but I assume the moderator changed the password of the account by now and he would not be willing to make these changes. I also assume that, although the founder was absent from the forum for two years or so before the account switch, that it doesn't matter since someone else is logging into the account.
Re: Forum Founder Gave Away His Account
Why is not the original founder here asking for help?
