New Topic Buttons within Post not working correctly

Hello. I'm having a problem with the "New Topic" buttons within a topic itself. The button works perfectly fine if I use the Index and come into the forum that way. Simple click of "new topic" and the box appears to write your post.

If I try to use the buttons on either the top or bottom of an established thread, nothing happens. I can use the "reply" button just fine from this location.

The strange thing is if I hit the "new topic" button [which results me sitting where I started] and then hit the reply button, the reply box comes up. If I then hit the back button, I will find the new topic box that didn't after trying to open it from the thread.

When I right click one of the "new topic" links within an established thread and select "open link", the browser will open the new topic box as well so I'm sure its something I've done in my template at some point of playing around.

I'm using version phpBB2 and I have access to the founder acct.

Do this happen in all devices and browsers?

I just have tried on the PC.

As far as browsers, Firefox and Chrome both work as intended. I'm refusing to go Win10 so no Edge, though IE 11 is the browser having the issue.

Well, it sounds like a browser issue, not a Forumotion issue.

Is your browser up to date?

I suppose I didn't notice as I don't have a "go to" browser and click whatever to get the job done. I have the last IE but I won't be using Edge so I suppose I'll be better off using one of the other browsers.

You should still be able to update Internet Explorer without updating your system to Windows 10.

My IE is the latest version. I've tried again today and its still buggy on that browser. Chrome, Opera and Firefox all work correctly.

Suppose it's just a weird thing that happens and can let peep in the forum know. Not a big issue.
