How to add a button for video sharing?

Option to add buttons above the field for writing messages. For example I want to add a button on a video sharing site that is different from YouTube.

Are you sure that you are using the correct share link in the button?  Also some people who upload videos do not want their videos shared on other sites so they do not have share links.

I tried using the link that was shown in the embedded code for a video from that site he mentioned in the first post and it really doesn't work with flash.. Which is weird since I got the link from an auto-generated embed code rather than just the URL that shows at the top of the browser..

When you click on it, it shows JUST the video (like an embedded youtube link would look like) so it should work with the flash button, but for some reason it doesn't.
I tried using an embedded FB video link as well and got the same results.. So it may be that the flash button just doesn't work with videos other than youtube and vimeo..

I do not see a share button on that video?  I see a button to share the video on social media sites.

Since it is not in English, it is hard for for to use the site.  I believe the issue is that the share link is not formatted correctly.

At the other sites where there is a button to add video from this site video works by putting this part of the link.

I want to allow all users on my site to put video on this site. If you do what you say it will only work for me.

No.  If you activate HTML for the whole forum and in your profile then everyone can do it.

How to get all users to do this? It is easier to add a button to solve the problem.

Create a topic or an announcement to inform your members that they can use the embedded code to share a video.

yes as SLGray says if you post a topic telling your members to do as you have done then there will not be a problem.

What i did on my forum is to set it to always use HTML then in the templates made a change to it so every ones main setting is tuned on then i removed the setting so they could not change it.

Now all new members on the site have to have it on if they like it or not

then i posted to all the members i had already to ask them to make the change by just going in there profiles and clicking on profiles and then click on the Preferences tab and then click SAVE and then thats all they had to do
