People becoming Members Without my Approval

Hi,
I have had 2 people join and I have NOT let them in nor has any of my other Admins..Can you tell me what is happening and how do i stop it? I haven't had this problem until recently..Do I have my Group open in some way for people to see, then join without my knowledge?

What are the settings for new accounts?

It set where the users have to click a link in an email.

So where should it be set, that only I have control to let them in?

if you want only the admin to be able to activate a new member you need to set
new accounts activation :Admin
