Lost Text When Editing

Description of problem
Myself and a few members have encountered an issue where a great deal of text is simply lost when editing a post that contains lots of spoilers and/or code boxes. The text always cuts off at the same spot but there are no coding errors that I or any of my members are aware of.Is this a common glitch and is it operator error?
EDIT: Through testing a member has confirmed that removing the spoilers doesn't make a difference. The issue seems to lie in having lots of code box coding in a single post.

Re: Lost Text When Editing
Are you using WYSIWYG or resource mode? Does this happened in both modes?

Re: Lost Text When Editing
No, we are not. From the moment the edit button is pressed and it takes us to the edit screen, the text box is already missing text. It isn't lost upon pressing send. I've tried turning the modes on now that you've mentioned them, but the lost text does not reappear.

Are these messages/posts very long? There is a limit on the number of characters in a post/message.

Re: Lost Text When Editing
The posts are long, but the latest one to have this issue is only 10,000 characters large according to wordcounter.net.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't forumotion prevent the post from being made in the first place if it exceeded the character limit? We can make the posts, the problem is that when we edit them, half or more of the post is missing from the edit box.
Thank you for your attempts to help so far. I hope I don't sound ungrateful. Just trying to make sure my issue is clear.

Re: Lost Text When Editing
When you post these posts are you in WYSIWYG mode? What mode are you in while editing the posts? Also are you typing these posts manually or copying and pasting them?

Re: Lost Text When Editing
I can't speak for others, but I never use WYSIWYG mode. I just use the standard html posting mode. The roleplay systems posts that have the issue were posted manually, but some member vault posts where they store items earned have lots of copy and pasted text in them.
