Cannot enter in personalize domain name for forum

Hello team.

I tried reading many posts on this topic before posting but I am still lost so going to go ahead and post. My forum lost its domain back in June, I purchased a new one and did all the steps to become the new forum founder and that was all completed in November. What I am trying to do is take the new domain name and link it to the forum where the name does not change once you are on the site. Right now you can put in the domain name and it goes right to the forum, no issues, but once on the forum the name flips to the forummotion name.

When I go to the section under my admin login where it says to type in the personalize domain when I put the name in it will not allow me to enter in the last letter of the address. It is like I am running out of room. The domain name is the same as the old one except that one ended in .com and the new one ends in .org.

I also reached out to GoDaddy, I purchased the domain through them, and they asked for the forum IP Address or Nameserver. I could not supply that information to them and the agents advice was to contact my host to get that information.

Any information or help is greatly appreciated in advance.

What is the new link now?

Yes several times, and when it comes to entering in the personalize domain name I get stopped at the g in .org everytime, can only enter chicagolandareamodernmopars.or

On the domain site I have it forwarded to http://camm.forumotion.com/ and I did the host part as well, but I cannot complete the part under the admin controls on the forum.

Make sure that the box is completely empty before entering the link.  Also do not enter www.

It is 100% blank and I am not putting anything before the C in chicagoland. Attached is a screen shot I just attempted again.

Well, it does look like the name is too long.

Which is very confusing to me because it is the exact same length it was before we lost the .com domain. The only difference is it is now .org. So I am unsure of how to proceed with this now.

Try copying and pasting the link in the box.

Just attempted and it auto removes the g from org and I just see chicagolandareamodernmopars.or.

I had the same problem, it took the letter out of the link. Then I had a guy telling me this was impossible, but i assured him he was wrong. This just proves my point! However your link is pretty long, i don't recommend it! No one will ever find it.

Forum has been around since 2009, have plenty of people that can find it. Was your issue ever corrected?

I just chose a shorter link. For example mine is www.insectboards.com Mine is new by the way. Very new!

Please note that it is not possible to modify any of these limits.

Are you sure that your domain name was similar, but had .com?

I am 100% sure before June 2016 the domain name was chicagolandareamodernmopars.com. It was set up that way on June 3, 2009.
