Error: The forum you selected does not exist - while clicking link to activate
Hi I created a forum. http://krakow-english-books.forumpolish.com
I am admin to it. to test it I myself as a new member with a new email ID.
I got the email with link for activation. when I click on the link I get this error : The forum you selected does not exist.
How to fix this ?
I cannot register again with the email ID, it says this email ID is taken.
I cannot login with the username I gave during registration, it says this username does not exist.

Hello,
Try manually activating the account in the admin panel. You can do this by going to: ACP (admin panel)-->Users and groups-->Users-->Inactive users-->New users . The account should appear on this list. You should just tick the box next to username and click activate. This will activate the account and you will be able to login with it.

Hello,
I can clear this up
As your forum is new even thou you have set it so your members have to go in and click the link on a Email, this is not the case on new forums.
As a spam system we have set all new forums to a default setting of Admin to ok the new accounts until you have more use in the forum then it will go to your settings as asked.
My advice is to set this back to Admin until you have 5 to 10 members then change it back.
This setting is not a problem after your forum is used more.
Reason for this setting:
Stop new accounts made by bots.
Stop spam members making a mess of your forum.
