Re: Recovering User Account
Go to admin panel, click on General go to Moderation Actions. There will be a list of what you done including which member you deleted. You can register the member yourself using the user name and email address. Tell the member about their new account and give them the password and then they can change the password.

Re: Recovering User Account
Yeah, I had the user's profile page open prior to accidentally deleting it and never closed it. And another tab of me editing their account in the admin panel. I just wanted to see if there was a way to recover the account with the same account ID.

The only way I can think of is using a forum backup(https://www.forumotion.com/utils).

Exactly, but I guess you meant 'restore' instead of 'backup'. Anyway, you'll be needing founder credentials for what you're chasing after...

Re: Recovering User Account
You will have to use the restore option in the forum's utilities. There are different restores.

I'll talk to the person that founded the forum (even though he's more of a klutz than I am).
@SLGray, what would happen after I use one of the restore options? Would the forum revert all posts made or can I restore the account from there?
