Re: Banning a website link
There is no real way to ban a Web address but what are you doing to add this to your word censoring?
Please give me a screen shot of your word censoring page with how you have added it

Re: Banning a website link
i tried to put the main word of the website in, the main home page link for the website, including both in * as mentioned on the admin panel, and all of them are not working.

Re: Banning a website link
ok so this is how i just done it
the site is called "lifeoftheliving.com"
so now i have split this up in the boxes
lifeof
the
living.com
Then when some one types in lifeof it will put this in it's place
lifeof = Word Blocked
the = *******
living.com = Thats a NO NO
but you must add the text that will be replace the word you don't want seen.
also please not that the words will only change when it's a new post
all older posts will not be blocked as it's already been posted and it's not longer been sent over the filter before posting but you could try and press the edit button then resend it and that should change the text.

Re: Banning a website link
first of all, the way you'd want to do things wouldn't work in how you'd ban the word "the" from your website? can't you see how that'd be a problem?
and that theme of not working fits in a way for us as well.
we are called mugen multiverse. mugen is source for our discussions.
the website we want to ban is mugenarchive.com
since this is the only way word censor works regarding website banning, i think it would be beneficial to all if the devs developed alterations in their word censor programming.

Well what if you just put 'mugenarchive*' in the word censor, then this shouldn't effect the word 'mugen' or 'archive' itself, it would censor anything with these two words together without a space, with the artisk in there it should also prevent 'mugenarchive.com' from being posted since there is no space in it and as such the censor wouldnt let it go through because of the artisk.
I think this could be the one way you could censor this without having issues with any other word.

Re: Banning a website link
no use of * or combos of mugenarchive will work. what is needed is something put into your main coding to take into account websites as that is the only way.

Suggestions
make a poll and then get members to vote on it then maybe this will come in one of the updatesRe: Banning a website link
You can use CSS for that with # is the forum URL you wanna hide/stop showing on your site.
- Code:
a[href*="#"] {display: none}
- Code:
a[href*="/u000"] {display: none} /* 000 user's link */
- Code:
a[href*="baidu.com"], a[href*="taobao.com"] {display: none} /* or some site */
- Code:
a[href*="#"] {font-size:0}
a[href*="#"]:after {font-size:14px;content:"donkeydotcom"}
