How to show the forums and Categories in the portal

Hey Fm, is it possible  for forums  and Categories to show in the portal? If it is  possible  please someone should show me how to induce that to my forum

You can use the news widget and pick a certain forum to show.

that is not what am looking for....  i mean is it possible to have the home page of my forum in the porta?

Anyways. I typed in that Forum's URL and the page that is being displayed isn't their Portal, its the Homepage.. But this is from Guest view, not a Member's view.

Do you mean that you want a portal, but you want the homepage to be what loads first when someone visits?

@SLGray I think he wants the Portal to be the first thing people see, but for the Portal to have the same Forums and Categories as the Homepage does

So why do you want a portal then? Going from what I've ready a portal is rather unessary for you from what I gather.
