Description of problem
HelloI have got a few members who are video artists that are trying out my second forum. However they are having trouble inserting Mediafire codes into the editor for videos.
The You Tube link is fine that works however members are having trouble with the other two video uploaders.

Re: Inserting Different Video Codes
There are 3 buttons in the editor to post videos: Youtube, Dailymotion, and Flash.
the file extensions allowed are these
You can add almost all videos if you have enabled HTML in posts you don't need to add it in BB tags
what are they experience exactly ?

Re: Inserting Different Video Codes
yes it redirects to adfly, you just have to click skip this adfly to continue to the page/link
you can not solve this
i think the reason you see the video cut off is caused forumotion wants to prevent illegal links to their free service.
try this to adjust the size
first be sure to have enabled html

Re: Inserting Different Video Codes
I will need assistance with that as I am not sure where to do that
Re: Inserting Different Video Codes
Is there a Video Tutorial that I can copy and paste onto my forum As my brief "How to do it" confused two who are trying the board out using the editor facility.
Re: Inserting Different Video Codes
No sorry there is no Tutorial on this as far as i know
Just a heads up the files you are adding when you get the adfly is down to our system takes this as a spam system and puts the adfly page on it.
My advice is not to use this as the adfly page will always come up and never looks good to your members or your non members.

Re: Inserting Different Video Codes
I have tried adding links of videos into the "Insert a Link" and Flash but doesn't accept the link codes.
As for Dailymotion Video, I have no idea how this works So its down just to members posting video links like with Mediafire etc

Please send them in a PM with the code tag system so it don't post the video on the screen

Re: Inserting Different Video Codes
Exactly Forumotion uses AdFly to earn money on popular host links like Mediafire. On my forum which contains Mediafire links to members' creations has AdFly. Mediafire is considered a download host.
