Is there a way to back up your Javascript codes?
Hi,
I read Backup and recovery templatesBackup and recovery templates written in 2015, but did not see a way to back up my javascript under Modules > Javascript > Javascript Codes & Management.
Is there a way to do this?
If not, does saving Javascript on a Word doc or Notepad work? I googled but it's confusing.
Thanks.

Do I use the button 'Host An Image' to upload the Notepad attachment?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hello,
No, just copy and paste the codes in word docs and save them to your pc. Then if you need to restore them for any reason, just copy and paste them back.

No just select the code from you panel
create a new document for example
then past your javascript and save
when you want to install it again
just copy the code and install it again

Re: Is there a way to back up your Javascript codes?
Sadly we do not save JavaScript codes to our backup system as this is a add on / plugin to our systems that you the founder add's to you site.
sorry but we do not have a save setting on this part so you can save it to your computer like some parts of the ACP has already. but as already said you can copy and paste your codes to your own computer in a word file.
I save all mine on my test forum to make sure I have a copy of it then just turn them off so they don't show.

Re: Is there a way to back up your Javascript codes?
I backup all my javascripts and templates within code tags in a hidden forum only accessable to admins, that way it's easy to find them when needed, just select the code, copy, and paste it back in the proper place
Re: Is there a way to back up your Javascript codes?
Thank you all for the help and suggestions. I've done what TonnyKamper does with my CSS codes and one of my JS codes, but the other two JS codes were so long I worried it was too much.
I think I'll save them on Notepad and store on my computer but also to my gmail account, so if my computer ever blows, I still have them.
