Having issues resizing Category headers

Version: ModernBB

I'm having issues resizing my Category headers to something thinner. I can't find the correct attribute for it. I feel so dumb, haha.

Now I'm having issues with just putting a gradient color as the background on the same category headers. Do I need to create another topic for that?

so you want it thinner with a gladient background ?

Yes I do! 

I added this to the CSS, but when I load it, it says it's an invalid property?

That's just regarding the gradient anyways. 

But yeah, can't seem to get the header to resize smaller either.

Did you change the version of your forum? It does not look like a ModernBB forum.

Sadly it did not work, it still says it's an invalid property.

No I didn't, it's been like this since I made the forum.

you have to leave a space between to ..and right
