I have a problem with AwesomeBB

Hi everyone, today I have a problem with my forum when I used AwesomeBB.
This problem will be shown in 2 photos below.
A first picture is my main forum which is different from my test forum ( a second picture), I do not know why differences exist Sad

I hope to receive solutions back.

Does your main forum have ads removed? If no, that is the blank area you see under the navbar.

@APE, it actually shows that they have 2 Ad-blockers in their images so that is likely what is happening.

Admin's and founders don't see ad's on their main forum that is why I am asking about ad's blockers.

Ad's blockers can sometimes remove other things depending on the browsers and the blocker them self.

So as APE mentioned, that open space that you highlighted is for ads. You have ad-blocker enabled so you can't see it. I disabled mine and that is there. To remove the ads I would suggest purchasing the ad removal that Forumotion allows to help remove those which will help with that empty space.

Also on your live forum, the reason why it is like this is because Members & Guests see the space because it is an ad that is there. Your test forum doesn't show it because Admins don't see ads as APE mentioned. That is why some people will see the space and some won't.

Hope that helps explain things a bit more.

Yes, I know a blank appear by Ads, but 2 sides don't have anything like my test forum.

Try disabling your ad-blockers and clear cache and cookies and see if that fixes any of these.

So when you are logged in as the admin on your live forum do you still see that space?

Ads won't activate on new forums, but on your live forum will.

Curious, is this AwesomeBB? If so, that may be a bug that would need to escalated to the devwlopers but I am not sure.

hello @mrzang

the problem comes from your notification preferences. you just have to resubmit the form in your profile > notifications by clicking directly on the "save" button to solve the problem.

indeed, this has the effect of updating the JS called in the header of your forum taking into account our latest patch... Wink

i did the manipulation for you and it's now fixed.

NOTE FOR ALL : this handling must be done by any user suffering from this same problem. All you have to do is click on the "save" button in your profile notification settings to correct this problem Wink
