Set the permission while in advanced permission mode. What exactly happens when you click the save button?

Re: Unable To Save Change In Admin Panel
No, I mean the advanced permission link under the place you set them.
Also does this happen in all browsers? Are you using Chrome?

Re: Unable To Save Change In Admin Panel
the permissions of the test account at first page are showing that this test account has permission only to read (green text) and has no permission to write messages (red text)
this test account you are referring to is it a guest account or a registered test account?
and if it is a registered test account be sure to add it manually to your member's group in order to get automatically the group permissions

Please tell me the name of the account you are having problems with and the forum link and i will take a look.
I will also try and make a video to show you what i did to fix your problem.
Also tell me what parts of the forum you want them to post in so i know what to change,

Re: Unable To Save Change In Admin Panel
Sorry I do not have this on the admin panel, only those that I have posted, I have spent a considerable amount of time looking at what you have explained. Without any success Ape has graciously offered to do some investigation for me.
The whole board should be just for members to read and view without posting in the main part of the forum.
However only the comments section will be for members to post.
This is what I have posted before from the Admin panel however the full table of the forum.

Thank you Ape, very much appreciated

Re: Unable To Save Change In Admin Panel
okay I made a change on the comments forum with NO problem please try and use firefox to update your account's and Note you will need to make sure you ok the cookies to do this as the browsers need to read your cookies when your page refreshes.
Re: Unable To Save Change In Admin Panel
It is ok for founders to post, however using my test member account and using Firefox and Chrome the test account still is still not allowed to post in the Comments section. Even though I have followed your instructions the board does not save any changes to the comments section in the Admin panel.
Re: Unable To Save Change In Admin Panel
Just and idea maybe, if you use the test member account you will see what I mean
Re: Unable To Save Change In Admin Panel
Hello buddy I found your problem
when you made the forum you have a setting turned on
Forum on holiday : YES
ACP >> General tab >> Forum >> Configuration >>
It must be set to NO to let members post on the forum.
as for the settings you have not got a problem everything did save as it should do.
