Can Disqus commenting be added to forums here?

I am wondering if Disqus commenting can be added to a forumotion forum. I am told it's possible and yet, others say it's not.

It's been brought to my attention that maybe the Disqus shortname I was given has been removed from the coding to add Disqus comments to this forum. I have no idea how to tell, but if it was, that might be what needs to be added to the coding to connect my mod panel to the comment sections.
I'm sorry this has become such a big problem. I am thinking though that if this works out, it's something new that was learned and maybe even may be useful. One never knows?

I just want to let you know that if Forumtion has an update that effects this template the update will not work correctly on your forum.  You will have to modify the template again.

Have you contacted Dusqus for support?  They have a support page.  I also noticed there is a link to a community support.

Thank you, SL Gray. I went back through the coding and found what was causing the problem. There was a -1 at the end of the site name in the coding and it was not the same as the mod panel so it didn't connect. I took that out and published the coding again and I am now connected. Hmm.. no, I don’t think so.

I managed to get in touch with a friend of mine who is also a lawyer and he informed me about some points of using Disqus:

1. Data on users, their passwords and logins, as well as comments, are transferred to other companies. Selling data.

2. Even if you pay for the disconnection of advertising, it may appear on the site.

3. Loading garbage (If you know the scripts, you will understand what I mean).

4. Any ready-made comment code can be pulled from the site code and used on your site.

And much more, but is it worth writing everything?

I myself do not understand now why there was no access. But if the author of the post has a fear that I am a bad person, he can delete the template and wait for help from others.
