Outbox does not send

Description of problem

Hello,
My outbox accumulates private messages and sends them days later. This makes it very difficult to maintain a conversation with another member. I looked at my preferences and other settings and I don't see anything unusual. I contacted the moderator and he can't diagnose the problem. My user name and password are the same for this forum and the Austin healey Replica Forum.

So when you send a PM, it is not appearing in the outbox at the same time you send it?

The outbox is delaying the send by days. Here is my current outbox. Notice the dates.

Well that really does not help since we do not know when you exactly sent those PM's?

hello

the admin of the forum may have modified some templates
at this time the better solution is to pm the admin of the forum or tell him/her to come here and open a thread if this is happening for other members too

Hello,

The aim of outbox is not to send messages. PM are sent the second you click on "submit"
It just stores them till they have been read.

As long as the PM is not read, it remains in outbox, else it's moved to Sentbox

Yes this is right

when you send a PM to any member on the forum your PM is sent right away and is then in the inbox of the member.

Once the member reads your PM it will go from that outbox and then show up in the sentbox this shows the member has now read the PM if it;s still in the outbox this means the member you have sent a PM to has NOT read the PM yet but it has been sent to the member and it is in the inbox.

Thank you. Not obvious but the answer makes good sense.

If I needed to increase the size of my inbox, sent box, etc. what would I ask my moderator to do. My save box is almost full too. Hate to delete all those informative PMs.
