Forum Not Secure
Hello all !
Have a little problem for the last couple of days. The address bar which shows our web address is also saying "Not Secure" with a red triangle.
If you click on the red triangle it tells you not to enter any secure information like passwords etc which is obviously concerning our members.
It says the "certificate" is invalid, but also says it is valed to 01/06/20
Could someone who understands this please have a look - I would be very grateful.
The forum is at www.sealineforum.co.uk
Many thanks in advance (and I hope I have put this in the correct section!)

Re: Forum Not Secure
I have just realised from your picture something - you obviously followed my link in the thread with is WWW.sealineforum.co.uk
However, the link on my bar is actually sealineforum.co.uk without the WWW - could this be the problem do you think?

Re: Forum Not Secure
Thank you ! I'm not going mad then !!
Is there a way to stop this happening, or do I have to get all the members to change their saved link to include the www ?

Re: Forum Not Secure
Hello,
You bought your domain name outside of Forumotion and created a CNAME entry from www.sealineforum.co.uk
You need now to create a 301 redirect from sealineforum.co.uk to www.sealineforum.co.uk (to do with fasthosts control panel)

Re: Forum Not Secure
Ah - ok , thank you !! I will take a look at this on Fasthosts and see if I can figure out how to do this. I'm a little older than I think the majority here, but trying to keep on top of technology... ;-)
I wonder why this has happened all of a sudden ? We have had the same forum for about eight years...
