Internet Explorer
From Tools click Safety and then Delete browsing history
Select preserved favourites website data, temporary internet files and website files, cookies or cookies and website data, history
Delete and reopen the browser
Opera
From the Opera menu choose Settings, then Privacy and Security, and then Clear browsing data
Choose Advanced and select download history, news usage data, cookies and other site data, cached images and files

Clear and reopen the browser
No need to do it every day maybe 1 per week.
also save usernames and passwords in your browsers is all well and good if you are bad at remembering your passwords for sites but this can also slow things down so only ever use them if you must

Re: deleting forum cookies
Hello,
Your forum will not go faster by deleting your cookies. And even less by deleting the cache.
Cookies are installed on each visit. So by deleting them, they will come back automatically during the next visit. In addition, cookies are linked to many features on the forums: connection to your account, unread messages, some of your preferences, etc. By deleting your cookies, you will for example be disconnected from the forum.
The cache allows to keep in the browser memory certain resources such as images. It is therefore useful to keep your cache.
However, it is interesting to delete these cookies after long hours of surfing the Internet. Indeed, the browser stores many cookies and cached pages. Deleting the browsing history with cookies and cached pages can then be beneficial for the browser.

I always periodically clear my cache on all of my devices. Also the game I play runs better when I specifically clear it's cache every so often. In fact they recommend it. I am not technically savvy, but it definitely seems beneficial to me to regularly do this

Games and forums are different. Clearing your cache or even deleting the cache folder for a game can solved issues you have with gameplay.JaneDoe wrote:I always periodically clear my cache on all of my devices.
