Unable to reset admin email

Hi,

I used to be an admin to a forum >10 years ago. That forum has been inactive for several years, but I was notified by email that I received a PM. I don't remember what my password was, and I'm unable to use the password reset function. Who should I reach out to for support?

Do you mean the founder or just an administrator?

The forum itself has not been active for several years, and I have not been in contact with the forum founder for several years. I am guessing I am out of luck then?

There is one other admin, I have not spoken with them in years either. But I may have more luck reaching out to her. If that does not work, I will try the process in the link that skouliki shared.

Okay, I have an update. The other admin that I referenced no longer has access to their account either. I did get in contact with the only moderator, and they do have access to their account. It looks like my only option is to use the "Recovery or Change Founder of an Account" process that skouliki referenced.

However, will I be able to follow that process since I do not have access to my own Admin account anymore? Would this process be "cleaner" if my moderator friend went through the process instead?

The process works for a staff member oir just a member.
