Received E-Mail About My Forum Which Is Closed

Hello

Today I received a short but abrupt email asking why my forum is closed to members and new registrations are forbidden.

I have deliberately left part of the forum open for bots and to keep the Seo rating up, I have a running message that states
the forum is closed off to members. I do not want to completely make the forum hidden.

I had trouble with members when I left the board unattended for a while due to ill health, and decided that I didn't want members.

Any advice on a reply or should I just ignore it

Since this is not a technical issue i really dont see the reason why you opened a thread on the support section
Your forum is yours , you can do whatever you wish , no need to apologize to anyone

Just ignore the Email.
As always your forum is your's and you can do as you please with it but I would say if you don't want to use it then you should maybe remove it from google so others don't want to make an account.

Not sure why you would want the rating to be on google if you are not going to be open to the public.

Thanks for the comments, I will make it hidden as I do not want members as had enough of them.
