What is going on with Forumotion today?

What is going on with Forumotion today?

You guys are driving me nuts. My forum is having trouble loading, then comes up with timed-out forumotion maintenance (fair enough) but when I check other Forumotion forums they load ok. 

So why mine?

Even now, while I've been writing this post my forum is still trying load.

I keep getting this - it's doing it again right now.

I've done all the usual things...delete forum cookies, clear browser, try another browser, restart computer etc.
Even this support forum was slow loading at times.

Thank you for your report i have looked in to this as i have a problem on here my self sadly the staff member i have reported this to has not been back online so i can't report this to anyone now the office is closed.

I would hope that maybe the head office knows about this.

Even running a loading test your forum seems okay; not bestly optimized, but nothing critical

So why mine?

About this question, please note that forums are distributed on different servers, and for this reason some servers – so some forums – maybe have slowdowns while others don't.

It has been pointed out to me that we are both from the UK so it could be down to the server we are both on.

lets see if anyone else reports it from the UK.

PS @jkh can i ask you what service provider do you use for your internet and your browser ?

No you may not.

Just kidding  I use TalkTalk, and Edge or Chrome.

All is well at the moment.

Thank you the reason for me asking was we was thinking maybe it was down to problems with the service provider and or our servers as i was getting the same problem now and then on here, my site and on your forum and we are both in the UK.

It is a little strange it's just us who was getting a problem and no one else reported it on any other support forums.

We will keep this open and see what we get over the weekend and what the head office say Monday.

Surely, though, if it was a TalkTalk problem then I'd have had problems loading other sites rather than just my forum (and this one)?

Whever there's a problem on my forum, I tend to just think it must be you monkeying around again Ape

Unfortunately something weird is still going on...yesterday afternoon my forum was taking a while to load (with the same maintenance error code 504) so I clicked on another site while I was waiting and when the forum stopped loading all the members and guests had been disconnected and I was the only person online.

I think the members and guests must have experienced the same thing because within 10 minutes they all started logging back in again.

None of my members have reported issues though, but I assume that's because they're getting the same maintenace error code 504).

Gremlins, I tell you.  

Next time you get the page can you please screen shot the page you get ?

 Okay that last one is the spam system if you edit, post, try and post short posts the anti spam system kicks in. 
It will stop you posting so fast.
it's basically the same as this problem Here

As for the Maintenance 504 well I'm a little stuck to why that is going on as i get the one with this    now and then.

Yes, I get those dots going round in a circle, then it comes up with the 504 maintenance message because the forum is taking too long to load.

i have no issues today from my end

So far today, things are working ok...but it's been rather hit and miss for a few days now. It's annoying when trying to post something that I then get a maintenance message and my post goes into cyberspace never to be seen again.

Speaking seriously, I showed your case to our system administrator. It's strange because he does not see any special problems on the servers, but he will investigate.

Let us know if you have this problem again !

We are really sorry that it happens to you, now the objectif is to find the reason...

I'll get back to you as soon I have more information. And thank you for reporting the issue.
