Forumotion painfully slow today
I'm finding the loading of my forum, loading of smilies, loading while browsing PAINFULLY slow today. I've been to other non Forumotion forums and there's no issue. Even this support forum is slow to load, and slow to browse.

I'm not having any issues loading your forum or any other one. Perhaps you should clear your web browser cache? BTW what browser are you using?

I believe this is a random event. I am encountering slowness right now.

Re: Forumotion painfully slow today
I was just coming to report this issue. It is extremely slow for me on this forum and my own. I have tried Microsoft edge as well as my usual browser Google Chrome. It has been difficult for most of today and appears to be getting worse. Using my forum is not good. I cleared my cache which as expected didn't improve it. I guessed it wouldn't as other sites (not forumotion) are working normally.

Re: Forumotion painfully slow today
I now have an issue with servimg as well. I normally have it set at 1024px width. Now when I upload a picture in this setting it is black and greyed out, especially where the transparent background is. They load up better when I have that setting at No but then I lose my transparent background.
My speed on the forum is intermittent. It improves while browsing a couple of pages and then starts getting stuck again. I have to close my browser down and come back into my forum sometimes as it seems to get permanently stuck.
Edited to Add: I have had to resort to using a different site to upload my images tonight.

Could you post an example of an image you uploaded using Servimg?

Re: Forumotion painfully slow today
Edited: I have removed the pics as it seems to be size related. I do not know why it is not working with the same size as it was. But if I keep my images under a certain size it is working. I guess this is the way it is intended to work? Anyway I can adjust to that. I will use the other site for very large images
Receiving "429 Too Many Requests" Message When Posting
Yesterday the forum ran painfully slow. Today, almost every time I try to make a post and often when I click to open a page, I get a white screen with the message "429 Too Many Requests". I refresh and sometimes it helps, but half the time I just continue to get that screen. I know it is not due to too many posts being made as I am the only one posting right now. It doesn't seem to be getting any better on its own.
Any help to getting the forum back to running normally would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Re: Forumotion painfully slow today
Hello,
Regarding the slow loading issues on the forums, we just found the reason and the technical team is working on it to fix it. It should be OK in few minutes.
