Moderator/Admin

Ive created a new category for only those who donate to my forum have access to.

Under the category you see Moderators: Moderators

Why is Administrator not showing up next to it like the others.

In the first picture, administrators and moderators are showing up.

the second image is the advanced permissions for that category and admin cant be altered so everything is checked

I edited my post. The first picture does show administrators.

Not showing up for the Sponsors category, but all others it does

So which one do you want to show up: administrators or the new group?

I want the administrator to show up in the Forum category Sponsors

Yes it is for that specific category

So you can not uncheck and recheck the administrator's boxes?

No there preset since admins is highest rank to give out. So their greyed out on all categories.

They are not on my forum.

When you created that category, did you set the permissions then or after it was created?

I set them right when it was created.

Did you say that it is a category not a forum?

When i made the Category i also made a forum off of it if you look at picture youll see theres forum too.

Sorry but I ready can not think of any thing else. When I create forums or categories, my administrator's boxes are not grayed out that yours. Maybe a staff member here can give you the correct answer.

IM not sure why its like that been since day one. My admins can still moderate the forum section just i want them under Admin not Mod

So you want just administrators to be listed? If so then uncheck the moderator's moderate box.

didnt do anything still only Moderator shows.

yes it asks once i save it to set the permissions which is the second picture in my first post you see.

categories dont have permissions only the forums attached to them.

What would a link do. I have 4 computers 4 diff operating systems all display the same.

Other categories that do show the admin and mod there are set the same as the sponsor one

You did in the images, just need to know why the settings for t hat section dont show admins but others set the same permissions do.

What I mean is that I want to see your site to see if on my computer administrators show up for that forum on the homepage.

All mods and admins are not affected as they can still moderate all forums. Just irritates me that its now showing. I have OCD with things especially websites and computers

EDIT: Only Sponsors,mods,admins can see the forum. if your not in the group its hidden from guest and members
