GoDaddy Domain help

I bought a domain from GoDaddy, but it says "The supplied domain name is not well configured
Your CNAME must redirect to : ozhcscape.forumotion.com." What do i do?

Well go daddy is not part of forumotion now i dont know to much on this but I don't think theres anything that can be done.

Try PMing a Admin for more help! they might be able to set up your forum domain name correctly.

First contact a Admin and see what they can do.

Ok if you have already bought the domain you should probably cancel it until everything is figured out. When it is set up and you know what to do purchase it again.

Also please use the search button and try to look it up. There may be many topics about this.

Forumotion gets domains from Godaddy
We do allow users to bring outside domains to your forum
Please don't just say contact an admin

I followed that MrMario, but now it says "The supplied domain name is not well configured"

Did you put

www. in the host name
forumotion domain in the address
and made sure its CNAME

Ok the domain works, but it doesnt have the .com as the forum address, it says the .forumotion.com still.

Have you gone into the Admin Panel and looked to see if your Forum has been updated? Otherwise talk to a technician.

What do you mean updated?

Well in your Forum's Admin Panel there is an option to refresh your forum. I am sorry if this confuses you I am new to this Type of "Foruming" but really want to help.
Admin Panel > General > Forum > Forum Adress > Personalized Domain Name

Its perfectly fine. What do i do when i get to personalized domain name? I've already typed in my domain name.

You have to validate the domain name.
what is your Forum URL at the moment?
For example:
the box says: Domain Name http:// |_________________| so fill it in.
Domain Name http://www.example. (and then .com/.net/etc.)

Also make sure you have validated it on the domain site!

I've got my domain working now, it just doesnt keep the new domain name address. it goes back to the .forumotion.com address.

I also have the same problem

Yourdomain.com and *.forumotion.com are working at the same time!
