Cant use HTML in post

I have allow HTML in post turned on in the Admin Panel but every time I make a post using HTML it automaticly disables HTML in posts.

I can preview the post and it works fine but when I post it it doesnt, Its shows all the HTML code.
I've tried to edit the post which doesnt work ethier and everytime I go the edit the post this comes up http://prntscr.com/6kq3nt I click it to allow HTML but as soon as I click send it automaticlly re-ticks itself.

You should use bbcode in posts whenever possible. I would suggest only using html when you need to insert scripts or when trying to accomplish something that can not be done with bbcode.


Are you trying to post a particular script or html code? 
If so... may you post it here (using the tags)? 

It may be that there could be errors with the code(s) or the html code be to simple (like using bold, italics, underling, etc tags, these can be done with bbcode).

Yeah I usally use BBcode for making topics/post but I dont thing is possible to do nofollow links in BBcode and thats the reason the I was using HTML.

did you allow HTML in your OWN profile as well? it has to be done in the admin panel and your account separately..

Did you close that image tag?

Shouldn't there be a </img> or something along those lines to close it? I meant I do not if it affects anything, but shouldn't one always close an open thing with a closing tag? I am sure I read that somewhere.

I've checked account settings and there nothing on account/profile settings that allows/disallows HTML code

Usually there do need closing that but this does not lol (Sorry im not technical enough to explain) This is the same code I use for my Afilliate Links but with differant title + images and they work perfectly.

You could try clearing your browsers Cache and cookies and/or clearing the forum cookies.

Did you edit the template? Cause you should find it here:
Profile > Preferences > Always allow HTML

Yeah it is all turned on to allow HTML posts. 

It's works fine when I preview post the problem is when I submit the post.

Have you tried using a different browser or clearing your cache and cookies as well as the forum cookies?

You could also try un ticking allow html in posts in the acp then re-ticking it... maybe it will reset it on the server.

If it works fine on preview, but not posting it's most likely because you're disabling HTML for that post. Check this topic for enabling HTML : https://help.forumotion.com/t35636-enabling-html
