User-controlled Switchable Themes?
My site has a bright color scheme, however, some users have asked me whether there is any way for the site to have a switchable theme, so they can have darker colors at night time. Is there any way to create a secondary CSS to which users can switch to and from without me having to change the look of the entire site based on the time of day (which would, of course, be impossible to do considering the varying time-zones and what not).
Re: User-controlled Switchable Themes?
Aha, thank you. This seems like just what I need. However, do you know how I could apply my personally created CSS instead of the default themes from HitSkin? I'd assume that I need to upload my CSS to a theme host, in which case, do you have a recommendation for a site that offers this option?

Re: User-controlled Switchable Themes?
I managed to upload my themes to HitSkin and applied the Javascript using them. It works almost exactly as I wanted, except for one small hiccup. It doesn't seem to import the chatbox CSS from the HitSkin site when I switch to the alternate theme. Is there any way to fix this?

Re: User-controlled Switchable Themes?
Oh, I'm sorry! The chatbox only appears to members, I'm afraid. Here are some screenshots to explain what I mean though.skouliki wrote:iam sorry i did not see it
you cant see the chat at all?
This is the default appearance of my CSS.
This is what appears when we switch to the alternate theme through the theme picker.
This is what should appear when switching to the alternate theme.
Ahhh! That is very useful, thank you! I shall be sure to add this option also. However, I'd still like to keep the alternate theme available. Any ideas on how I could fix the chatbox color issue?APE wrote:you can also install some a cool tool to change the look of your screen using this tool Here!! its called night mode
Re: User-controlled Switchable Themes?
Hello, whats the issue with the chatbox? Text color or the color of the chatbox itself?
