I have purchased the 'Advanced package' and enabled the SSL certificate (HTTPS), yet nothing has changed. Are additional steps needed?

Thanks.

WHen did you purchase the package? It usually takes a few days, i have a custom Domain name and it took 4 days for it to get enabled. Look at the message in the admin panel,>misc> Summary & Management> Enabling the SSL>Modify> Does it states it will take up to 4 days?

Hello,

When did you purchase it and activate it? It takes a couple bussiness days for the https to be added and working. If you bought it today, it should be working sometime early next week probably.

Under a day ago, so that might explain it. Thanks.

Also after purchasing the SSL certificate, did you go back and set it up?

OK, I've done that and now I'm blocked from my forum! I get this warning error.

The reason your likely getting that message is the certificate hasn t been set up yet. Once it is set up, that message should dis appear. I would set force to https, to no for now. Check it once a day by setting it to yes, if you get the invalid certificate message, disable it again. Repeat this once a day until it no longer occurs and then leave on yes.

If after Tuesday or Wedensday your still having problems, let us know and we might be able to get it looked into for you.

Before you do these, make sure all the external links and images uploaded to your forum are also safe. And by safe I mean having the link to
Code:
https
. If at least one image on the viewing page isn't under
Code:
https
then the Certificate won't work as it should because all images and external links must be under https. Wink

Correct.   It also will cause some browsers to give an alert.
