Edit Button Gone

I've already looked through several forumotion posts about this. Yes, I have looked through the permissions in the Administration Panel; members can edit their own posts. Yes, I've double checked and tried my posts in the forums where members, including admins like myself, can edit their own posts.

Actually, everything that should be next to the topic title above each post isn't there. Also, I could previously edit others' posts; now I can't. Why is that so?

Would appreciate it if someone could help me.

Hello,

Can you check in ACP (Admin panel)-->Display-->Pics Management (advanced mode)-->Buttons and see if there is a button there for editing?

If so, have you added any codes or anything recently?

Finally, what is the url of your forum?

There is, but the link for it led me to a blank page, which I guessed was the source of the problem. Replaced it with a proper image, worked, but I'm not sure what's the right size.

I don't know if any codes were added recently; someone tried to delete our forum. Might've destroyed this in the process. If you still need the url, though, here it is -

can you provide the image link..maybe its just a broken link and you need another image

The link isn't broken, but it leads me to a blank page. That isn't an issue, I can simply change it. Here it is if you want it - https://2img.net/i/fa/empty.gif

The only question I have now is what's the appropriate size for the buttons, or will forumotion help me resize it?

I'm aware. I'm sorry, I probably didn't make it clear that I knew it was a useless link.

What I'd like to know now though is, as stated in my previous post, what the appropriate size for the buttons should be, or if forumotion would automatically resize them for me.

I have 64 by 64 on my forum and they seem to be perfect. You really just need to use your best judgement, as long as it isn't too huge it will work out.

You could either request it here on the support forum (https://help.forumotion.com/f31-graphic-requests ) if you want customized ones, or use a site called iconarchive.com which has copyright free icons you can use for free that are already resized to different sizes. Wink
