Deactivating another account
I have an account from years ago that I can no longer access the email for, and want to deactivate it, how can I go about doing this? i can probably provide some recovery info for the account.

Re: Deactivating another account
I do not have the current password for that account because the email I used for the account has been deleted and I have no way to recover it. I can more than likely recover said account but I dont see a way to recover accounts other than having the email to it.SLGray wrote:https://www.forumotion.com/unscribe
EDIT: I see I am in a similar situation to this person: https://help.forumotion.com/t156239-delete-a-forumotion-account?highlight=recover+account+without+email Could I go about getting someone to pm me for help on this?

Re: Deactivating another account
I believe that member is talking about a forum, not just an account.
Have you tried contacting any of the staff on that forum? I mean by email or on social media?

You can send an email by clicking the contact tab in their profiles.

The site does not allow me to register and keeps circling pages, so I cannot contact them at all, and the last forum activity is years ago.

If you can see the profiles of members, you do not have to register.

I cannot direct myself to the persons profile, it keeps directing me to the sign in page, which directs me to a "site terms of service agree page" and it cycles over and over.

Ok. They have it set that guests can not see the profiles. Is it you want to stop receiving emails from the forum or unsubscribe from the forum?

Re: Deactivating another account
I would like to reactivate the account and delete it, however, I do not have access to the accounts email because it is a deleted email, I can most likely provide enough detail to recover the account, but I see no method to do that, so I made this forum after attempting to see if I could contact the sites owners/staff, which I could not.SLGray wrote:Ok. Re: Deactivating another account
Issue still ongoing, site does not allow me to register, and attempts to contact staff were unsuccessful, nor can I go to any staff profile on the site I am trying to deactivate my account on.
