Domain Name Expired I cant renew it!

Hello,
I have my forum on a .com domain and also I have 2400 credits on my forum.
I am trying to renew it but it says to change package is it mandatory?
Can I renew it with old system?

So in order to have a custom domain name with Forumotion you need to have one of the packages that they offer now. You would need either the Advanced Package or the Premium Package. For more information, follow the link below.

Hmmm a lot of changes after my return back. As it seems it is mandadory to move to a package otherwise I can't continue to have a domain name and I can't use my remaining credits.

In this case I will remain in free package.

The reason they made some of these changes is because of the prices it costs them to host all the websites have gone up and they needed some way to be able to get more money to make ends meet so they don't have to start charging us as users for the hosting and everything else.

Just so you know, credits can still be used if you select the yearly package. It is only if you use the monthly package that you can not use them.

Also as Jadster said above, the reason for the change is because costs have gone up and in the current climate of things, the old system was no longer sustainable for the company. We apologize for any inconvience this may cause you, however, it was a business decision that HAD to be made in order to keep the service alive.
