Re: SSL certificate playing up again?
Hello,
Some of the forums with https protocol are temporarily inaccessible.
We'll fix the problem quickly.
In the meantime, we advise you to spend your forum in http:
- on the page " connection is not secure " click " Advanced ", then " add an exception "
- go to your admin panel
- in various > spend credits > SSL Certificate pass protocol on http.
Thank you for your understanding.

Re: SSL certificate playing up again?
Same for mine. The admin panel when I log in tells me it's valid until March 14th, the site itself when checked in my browser is sending a certificate which expired 14th February.
Not sure the advice you gave is much use for my members - if they're using browsers that insist on SSL protocol anyway they'll still get warnings and I'm not about to relax the security settings just to generate even more complaints from them.
Can you say what went wrong and how you're fixing it? I believe something similar happened last month too around the same time as my cert should have been replaced automatically.

Yes, I've hardly got any members or guests looking at my forum aswell which is unusual.
Can I ask how you closed your forum please?

Re: SSL certificate playing up again?
On the admin site go to General \ Forum \ Configuration and then on the right side search for "Forum on Holiday". Click "yes" and "save".
After that logging in is only accessible to administrators.
Or you can choose "Under construction" on the same page and set up an announcement to accompany the status.

Ah, thank you for that nordmann. I'm sure I've done that before but members were still able to get in, or maybe they were already in...
