Hi support,

We recently came across a problem when trying to increase the "Maximum allowed space for members" for attachments on our forum (https://projecthospital.forumotion.eu, currently premium package with 2000 MB total storage).
Our settings are currently around 40 MB / 2000 MB, but when trying to increase the limit, the maximum switches to 32 MB. Is this value configurable somewhere or is this something that changed globally recently? We have several very active users who have reached the limit and deleting a lot of old attachments by hand while we still have a lot of storage capacity left isn't very practical.

Here's a screenshot from the admin panel before/after:

Thanks in advance, best regards,

Hello,

It does look like it may have changed globally. If that is the case there is no way to over ride it sadly.

Exactly have some of the storage space been use before this issue appeared?  I mean before you tried to change it.

Hi, thanks for the replies!

Looking at our storage statistics:
2000 Mb (the whole quota) is allocated for attachments, 1175 Mb used / 825 Mb free.

And the value for the members/attachments was 40 000, as shown in the screenshot.

Let me know if you need any more info. Thanks!

I believe the system is taking in account that space that has been used.

Hi, I still want to do a quick test to check how the free capacity affects the limit (by, well, deleting a lot of old attachments) - from our perspective it seems it jumped from 2 GB straight to 32 MB, while there's till around 800 MB free space.
I'll reply to this thread when I have the results.

Hi, I managed to clear some space but unfortunately couldn't reach 1 GB free space without deleting some important files (basically I wanted to test if it's a threshold where the maximum allowed space per user changes).
Still, even if that was the case, it would mean we could only use half of our paid capacity to be able to allow more space for our active users, which isn't the solution I'm hoping for.

Hi, could you check if you can find what the actual relation is? And is there a chance the limits can be increased in the global configuration?

Thanks in advance!
