Member unable to Reply or post New Topic
Hi
Forum: http://ibonsaiclub.forumotion.com/
A new member is unable to post New Topics or make a Reply in an existing thread.
He is viewing in another language (Russian). When I log into his profile as him (with his permission) the board comes up in English and everything seems fine. But he has sent me images of what he sees and clearly he does not have the New Topic or Reply buttons.
Is there any known issue with viewing the forum in Russian?
Thanks
Fiona

Have you tested it with your account in Russian? You are talking about the language option in your profile on the forum, correct?

Re: Member unable to Reply or post New Topic
When the chap logs in he sees all threads in his own language. When I log in as him, I see the threads in English and even when I switch board language to Russian in Profile/preferences/Board Language I still see individual threads in English. This may be because I am an Admin though?
This is what he sees:
Everything is in Russian.
I think he has set something somewhere but I cannot work out what it is.

See that is weird, because that option in your profile does not translate what is in messages/posts.
Is the member using a browser extension that translates text?

Please Note that if your member is using something like google translator then posting will be a problem as it is only made for reading the page not making a post.
They will have to use the main forum in English to post not using any browser translator.

Thanks for everyone's help. We seem to have sorted it. The problem was he had some sort of an ad blocker that was preventing the forum from showing in full.
